moving right along...

...after ignoring this thing for a few months (hey, i had stuff to do, like get a boyfriend!) i'm pleased to announce that i've joined the rest of the world and got onto facebook and twitter (links here.) i fear, however, that managing my techno-life will soon consume my real life... oh dilema!

Day #5

so it finally stopped snowing on sunday (ish). my car, which was left over the weekend while i went a-visitin' downeast, was plowed under a snowbank and the doors are frozen shut. the jeep decided not to turn over today, so my lovely roommate (who is on vacation) hauled his lazy ass out of bed to give me a ride into work. ah, i love winter....

Day #4

ask and ye shall receive.... it's been snowing since tuesday with no respite in sight (it seems) 'til sunday. sort of like a tantric snow storm.... don't get me wrong, i am very happy. i like winters that look like winter. it reassures me that all is right with the world.

Day #3

what's with all the dogs?

you may find yourself asking this very question if you look at the slideshow long enough. these are my babies. now, before you jump off to the island of conclusions with the notion that i am one of those people who don't have children and so must substitute some other living creature.... okay, you're half right. these guys (yes, they're all boys) are my babies, they're spolied a little more than most dogs, i actually brush their teeth and feed them good food (no corn, wheat, or by products.) i do not speak to them in sappy baby tones (well, most of the time,) dress them up, or give them stupid cutsey-pie names. i like to travel with them, hike with them, and play with them. in any case, i've found that dogs in general are better people than most people are. i've always wanted to find a human who shared common traits with my dogs (think: loyalty, friendship, honesty, enthusiasm; not drooling, fur, farts, and dog breath!) fyi: i think i've found him...

Day#2

this will be fun to tinker with during my lunch break. i'm still learning the ropes so i welcome any hints, tips, and constructive criticism. it's raining on the coast today. i miss the snow. where is it? why doesn't anyone else seem alarmed that, back in the day, there would be mountains of snow 15+ feet high at this point in the winter? i want to build snow forts!

Day #1

and so begins my adventure into the blogosphere... this is originally intended as a place to post pics and info about my '99 jeep wrangler for sale (as of march 1 it will also be listed on craigslist.) but who knows, maybe other things will appear. i can't imagine who will read this (or why they'd want to,) but i guess stranger things have happened. so for now i will leave it here, and will soon post photos or whatever else i think someone might be interested (but this, again, begs the question: "why?") comments are always welcome.
